Due to a dramatic downturn in the livestock trade, caused by the outbreak of BSE within the industry, Dale Brothers purchased their first artic tractor unit and entered the world of general haulage.

James Dale’s twin sons, Allan and Jeff start trading together to create Dale Brothers who became specialists in buying and selling cattle in Cheshire region. They eventually expand their territories to cover the whole of the UK and into parts of Europe.
